At Just Helpers, we believe cleaning is about more than hygiene — it’s about dignity, fairness, and doing what’s right, even when it costs. As a London ethical cleaning agency, clients can trust, our purpose goes beyond sparkling homes and offices.

Just Helpers was born out of frustration with an industry rife with exploitation and short-term thinking. We saw cleaners underpaid, and treated as disposable. Clients frustrated by unreliable, impersonal services. We knew there had to be a better way. So, we built one!

From one woman’s vision to a movement for change

Our founder, Antoinette Daniel, started Just Helpers with a simple belief: everyone deserves respect — in their work, in their home, and in their business relationships.

What began as a small domestic cleaning agency has grown into a respected force for change in London’s cleaning industry. We:

Pay the real Living Wage to all our Helpers
Partner with organisations that share our values (B Corps, Living Wage Employers, ethical businesses)
Speak out against exploitation in cleaning through campaigning and thought leadership

We’re proud to have been recognised nationally for our commitment to ethical business, justice, and fair work.

The London Living Wage

We are an affiliate of the London Living Wage Organisation and support your Helper by ensuring they receive an equitable wage.

There’s the National Minimum Wage and then there’s the Real Living Wage. As affiliates of the Real Living Wage we ensure our Helpers are paid a wage that allows them to meet the actual cost of living (calculated based on the average price of typical household goods and services). Paying people a living wage is essential to overcome the vast social inequality we face in London, yet it’s currently voluntary and uptake is low in some sectors. We are proud to be one of the few cleaning agencies 100% committed to ensuring all Helpers receive at least the Real Living Wage for London.
