Easter is always a time for celebrating Spring, hope and new life. This year, the Easter message seems more relevant than ever.
As we move into April, the restrictions we have all been experiencing over the past year are beginning to lift. We can start to reconnect with family and friends. We will be able to meet with people we may not have seen in many months. We will even, soon, be able to share a hug. It’s been a long time coming.
Just like the spring flowers in our gardens, we are all tentatively unfurling and turning our faces to the sun – and it feels good.
Here at Just Helpers we are so grateful to have come through the past year, with the support and patience of our wonderful Helpers, clients and team. We are continuing to maintain our strict COVID procedures to keep our Helpers and their clients safe, and we are looking forward to getting back to do more of what we of best – delivering excellent, professional cleaning.
Giving Back
We are grateful have many churches and church leaders, including the former Bishop of London, among our cleaning clients. My Christian faith is central to my values, and to the values of Just Helpers. The homes of many of our Church leaders also serve as a hub for community activities, including hosting meetings and providing office space, so it is even more important at this time that they benefit from professional cleaning. In most cases, the lower salaries paid to clergy would make ethical cleaning unaffordable. We offer a special discount to church leaders to address this, as part of our wish to give back to those people who do so much for our communities.
Coming Together
Over the next few weeks and months, community buildings and public spaces will begin to open up. As restrictions are lifted, many families will be looking forward to getting together for long-delayed celebrations. My Easter Prayer
It’s been a tough year for so many people and there will be challenges and difficulties to come, even after restrictions are lifted.
My prayer is that the Easter message of hope and renewal, and the joy of connecting with friends and family, carries us through into the brighter times ahead.
